Mermaid Marine is one of the UK’s leading marine diesel engine and generator marinisers and distributors.
Mermaid Marine offers a range of heat exchanger / keel cooled marine diesel propulsion and auxiliary engines up to 825hp, suitable for a variety of applications including fishing boats, narrowboats, ferries, tugs, pleasure boats, charter and workboats. Mermaid Marine is also a Fairey Marine specialist.
From its base on the South Coast, Mermaid Marine offers customised solutions, whether it’s for a marine propulsion diesel engine, diesel generator or electric generator set.
Inboard diesel engines – usually available from stock – are based on Ford-UK, FPT, FNM, JCB and AGCO (SISU) suitable for the leisure and commercial markets.
And as well as sales of marine diesel engines, Mermaid Marine has large stocks of parts, spares and accessories for sale and offers field servicing and repair and general overhaul of diesel engines and generators.
Our highly skilled and equipped engineers are able to carry out diesel engine installations, repairs and servicing either at our workshops or, by arrangement, at a location to suit you for FPT, FNM, Iveco, Ford, Mermaid, Sabre, Lehman, Lancing Marine, AGCO, Sisu, Watermota, Ford, JCB, and Otosan diesel marine engines.
We deal with the premium brands of FPT (Fiat Power Train), FNM, Ford, JCB, AGCO Power (SISU).
